The No-Code Journey - How to rapidly build a data driven product

Building a data-driven platform using no code tools and Google Cloud

I'm excited to share with you a new data-driven platform that I've built using no code tools and Google Cloud.

I built this platform to show how easy it is to use data, no code, and Google Cloud to build something that can make a real difference.

This platform uses AI to measure the impact of not for profits, and I'm excited to share it with a wider audience through this series of blog posts.

In this 5-part series, I show you the process to build a platform using no code.

So if you're interested in using no code tools and Google Cloud to build data-driven solutions, keep reading!

Part 1 - In this part, I'll discuss how we capture and prepare data for analysis.

To better understand how we collect and prepare data for analysis, be sure to check out the video below. In the video, I go into more detail on the specific steps we take to create a database that automatically updates with new data as it is collected.

Heres the live form that feeds into the database:

And heres the live Data that when updated updates the database.

As you can see in the video, we use a combination of Google Sheets, Google Forms, and BigQuery to create a database that automatically updates with new data as it is collected. This allows us to easily query the data and incorporate it into our analysis. By using these no code tools, we are able to quickly and easily capture and prepare data for analysis, which is a crucial step in measuring the impact of not for profits.

Part 2 - In this part, I'll discuss how we incorporate external data sources into our analysis.

Good job on making it to Part 2 of my 5-part series on a data-driven platform that uses AI and Google Cloud to measure the impact of not for profits. In this part, I'll discuss how we incorporate external data sources into our analysis.

This is important for measuring the impacts of Not for Profits as it allows us to understand the demographics of the areas a not for profit helps.

To better understand how we use external data sources, be sure to check out the video below.

In the video, I go into more detail on the specific steps we take to incorporate government statistics and industry benchmarks into our analysis.

As you can see in the video, we use a variety of external data sources to supplement the data we collect from not for profits and their beneficiaries. This includes government statistics on demographics, economic indicators, and other relevant factors. We also use industry benchmarks to compare the performance of not for profits in different sectors and regions.

By using these external data sources, we are able to gain a more complete picture of the impact of not for profits.

Part 3 - In this part, I'll discuss how we connect our data to a visualization tool to create interactive and informative graphs and charts.

To better understand how to connect visualization tools, be sure to check out the video below.

In the video, I go into more detail on the specific steps we take to connect our data to a tool like Google Data Studio (Looker Studi) and create engaging visualizations.

As you can see in the video, we use a visualization tool like Google Data Studio to create interactive and informative graphs and charts that help us understand the data we have collected.

We use these visualizations to identify trends and patterns in the data, and to communicate our findings to not for profits and other stakeholders.

By using visualization tools, we are able to make our analysis more engaging and accessible.

Part 4 - In this part, I'll discuss how we use AI algorithms to analyze the sentiment of survey responses from the people helped by not for profits.

By using natural language processing techniques, we are able to determine the overall positivity of the responses and incorporate those insights into our analysis.

This allows us to gain a better understanding of the impact of not for profits on the people they serve.

Part 5 - In this part, I'll show you my process tor rapidly creating a dashboard

Communicating data is critical for measuring impact. To do this for the not for profit platform I built a dashboard in google data studio that visualises all the data elements we've worked with so far.

I'n the video I'll show you a timelapse of me creating the dashboard and share some tips and tricks for rapidly creating a dashboard, including using templates and pre-built components.

And heres the dashboard if you feel like playing around

Moving forward, my next steps are to continue polishing the platform and preparing it for pilot testing with a not for profit, as well as working on a marketing and outreach plan to raise awareness of the platform.

I'm excited to have shared with you a new data-driven platform that uses AI and Google Cloud to measure the impact of not for profits.

I hope that this series has given you a better understanding of the platform and how it works.

If you're interested in using no code tools and Google Cloud to build data-driven solutions, I'd love to work with you.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
